"The Twelfth Angel" Book Review

Last Thursday, I started to read a book titled "The Twelfth Angel."

Summary of what i read:

John Harding life seems nearly perfect until his wife and son are killed in a car accident. John Harding is thinking about committing suicide. Then a childhood friend come and convinces him to coach their old Little League team the Angels. John reluctantly accepts. And slowly but surely John’s life has hope and purpose once again. John Harding met Timothy Noble the 12th and last player to make the team and has a never give up attitude. John begins to mentor Timothy Noble who is not the athletic type yet becomes one of the most important players on “The Angels” baseball team. Timothy teaches everyone about the power of possibility and persistence. A few months passed, Timothy’s doctor brought him the hidden truth that Timothy had a brain tumor and he knew it all the way. John went to visit his twelfth angel. His mother kept thanking John for giving Timothy the best time of his short life.

The characters of the story The Twelfth Angel are John Harding, Bill West and Timothy Noble.

John Harding is a loving man who lives with his wife Sally and their son Rick. These characteristics seem when he becomes the new and much occupied president of Millennium and when his wife and his son died in a car accident, he can’t easily accept the truth. Bill West is a loving friend of John Harding and he is always there to help John. Timothy Noble is the 12th and last player to make the team. He is full of perseverance in life and he has a never give up attitude. This little boy isn’t good at baseball, but he kept on trying.

I was truly touched by this story. This kind of story is very nice because it gives hope to every person. And you can learn many lessons from here especially those people who have cancer and the hopeless people. They will learn the never give up attitude. The lessons in this story are we should think positive in life and we should never lose hope and we should always remember that God is always there for us.
